The Historic Clay County Courthouse presented “An Evening of Lola Jean Dillon” on May 20 and 21, 2022.
“Lola Jean Dillon is a Clay Countian who achieved success as a singer and songwriter,” explained Thomas Watson, curator of the Historic Clay County Courthouse. “We are thankful that she was able to perform during a special appearance at this event in her honor.”
Beginning each night at 7 p.m., Lola Jean Dillon’s music was performed by local bands and vocalists, including Marlene Rhoton, Danny Kendall, Charlie Goad, Cherokee Upton, Tim Canter, Diane & Gary Brown, Billy Pierce, The Southern Image Band and Lola Jean’s sister, Paulette Scott.
