A one-of-a-kind rifle was donated to the Historic Clay County Courthouse to raffle as a fundraiser for the 2023 Heritage Days Celebration that celebrated the 150th birthday of the courthouse. The drawing for the gun was held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening, Aug. 4, 2023, during the festival.
Mandy Heady was the winner of the raffle that raised $7,200 for the courthouse’s restoration fund.
